Dillon Dillon is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores how relationships between people, objects, places, and time shape and transform our understanding of identity and belonging. Working across assemblage, installation, constructed photography, and sound, Dillon investigates how materials carry memory and how acts of collecting, reconstructing, and reimagining reveal connections between personal and collective histories.

A first-generation Jamaican American artist from the Bronx, Dillon’s work is informed by questions of lineage, migration, ancestry, and cultural memory. Dillon approaches place as a collaborator and objects as vessels that hold traces of the relationships they have formed.

Dillon’s current body of work, The Bronx, the Bush, and the Bayou, explores connections between the Bronx, Jamaica, and New Orleans, examining how relationships with landscapes, communities, and materials transform both the work and the artist..
